The attractions of this seaside resort include its small port, its wooden pilings, the Bay, a nature reserve offering landscapes of mudflats, dunes and salt meadows, and the Pointe, a wilder seafront.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">L'Aiguillon-sur-Mer has so much to offer, from fishing to water sports and boat trips. Linked to l'Aiguillon sur mer by a small bridge, it nestles between the river Le Lay and the Atlantic Ocean. Here, nature plays with contrasts: on one side, the calm, winding waters of the Lay, ideal for fishing and peaceful strolls; on the other, the ocean, with its powerful waves and infinite horizon, a symbol of freedom and adventure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">From the campsite, you can cycle to the Belle Henriette lagoon, the town centre with its casino class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Situated between Les Sables d'Olonne and La Tranche sur mer, you'll discover the two faces of Talmont saint-Hilaire, its historic side with the Ch\u00e2teau de Talmont, the 11th-century home of Richard the Lionheart.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">Bordered by 2 rivers, the Sauvag\u00e8re and the Payr\u00e9. It is isolated twice a day with the tides. With its diverse and varied landscapes, such as its marshes, the Olonne national forest and its wild coastline, come and enjoy the flora and fauna of the Pays d'Olonne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">This seaside resort has a rich heritage, with typical narrow streets, 3 harbours, 2 churches, the Saint Croix Abbey Museum, a rose garden and a
